It’s all about creating dramatic eyes, embracing the black liner, and creating the softest and most beautiful glowing skin. Here are simple steps to create this look for yourself with chemical free options (below). Also watch this video featuring Madonna’s makeup artist, Gina Brooke, and see how she does it.
Below I’ve included hyperlinks to alternative products you can use that are safe and I’ve tested them myself. These are safer options that are non toxic and most are chemical free and have great performance.

How to Simplify this Look & Go Chemical Free:
Step 1: Remember to care for your skin, this look starts with clear and glowing skin. Keep your skin silky and radiant by using only natural extracts and regularly exfoliating; keep your pores clear with a soothing gentle cleanser, and of course, before you start, make sure to use a nourishing All Natural Moisturizer (Skin Essence moisturizing serums act as foundation primers and make your foundation look more natural and reduce appearance of pores).
Step 2: Next use an all natural Tinted Moisturizer for a nice even glow. With this look, we want to see your beautiful skin, not the foundation (100% Pure has nice tinted moisturizers. Or you can mix a little of your foundation with your moisturizing serum for a softer, more natural, lighter look).
Step 3: Use a Matte Flora Eye Shadow for a soft luminous look (Zuii Organic Flora Colours: Vanilla Frost & Tawney) Madonna has a vanilla frost from her lash line to her brow. Then a very small addition of a mid-tone, like tawney blended in the crease)
Step 5: This look is all about the black liner. You can use your favourite black liner or you can use a loose black paraben free loose Mineral Powder with your eye definer brush and a little water to create your own dramatic liner and paint it on. Remember to press the brush right into the upper lashes to get a perfect line that becomes one with your eye lashes (Lavera has a super soft black eye liner that is rich, dark, and easy to apply $16)
Be bright by getting to know what ingredients are hazardous so you can start moving toward a less toxic regimen. Here’s a great list from a trustworthy source Skin Essence Organics of what ingredients to avoid.
